In each of the 100 progressively more difficult stages, the player is matched with a female character from Persona 3, Persona 4 or Persona 5 as a guest and first plays to beat scores set by the guest or by other players to fill the Excitement Gauge and play a Special Session where the guest Persona character provides comments, after which the player is challenged to beat a score set by the guest to clear the stage. ![]() The event is set up as a Live Arena (inspired by Persona 4 Arena) called the School Scramble Live Arena. µ's gets the idea to perform, after which the stage lights come on and light sticks surround the stage as if a crowd has gathered, leading them to invite Morgana to perform with them – an invitation Morgana accepts. He makes a deal with µ's to help each other get out, bestowing their Persona costumes on them and encouraging them to do what comes naturally. Morgana recognizes that where they are is not the Metaverse and is intrigued to learn about school idols, which he has never heard of before. ![]() The collaboration includes a voiced scene where µ's encounters an anniversary stage similar to a stage from one of the Persona Dancing games while out training and meets Morgana – who has also arrived there without knowing how – in a scene similar to how the Persona 5 protagonist and Ryuji Sakamoto first enter the Metaverse and encounter their first Palace.
